Overview
This 16-day journey combines the beautiful valleys of Langtang Valley with the sacred alpine lakes of Gosaikunda. The trip begins in Kathmandu with sightseeing at important cultural landmarks such as Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath before driving to Syabrubesi, the starting point of the trek.
The trail follows the Langtang River through forests of bamboo and rhododendron to villages such as Langtang Village and the scenic settlement of Kyanjin Gompa beneath the towering peak of Langtang Lirung. After acclimatization and exploring the surrounding viewpoints, the trek continues through traditional Tamang villages toward the sacred alpine lakes of Gosaikunda.
The route then crosses the high Laurebina Pass before descending through forests and villages in the Helambu region toward Sundarijal. From there, a short drive returns to Kathmandu, completing an unforgettable Himalayan adventure.
