Nir Kumar Karki brings over 30 years of experience to Nepal’s adventure tourism as a seasoned trekking guide and expedition leader. Beginning as a cook in 1991 and licensed as a guide in 2004, he trained at NATHM with certifications in guiding, cooking, and eco-tourism. His career includes leading the East-to-West Nepal Trek in 2003 with Rosie Swale Pope and supporting Sean Burch’s Guinness World Record trek on the Great Himalaya Trail in 2010.
